He died in his home in Uttara on Wednesday (September 13) and later at the Crescent Hospital, the doctor on duty declared him dead at 6:40 pm, according to the news of Sohan's death, Deputy Secretary General of Bangladesh Film Directors Association Kabirul Islam Rana.
He said that Sohan was sleeping at his home after lunch. The people of Bairi called him and did not get any answer after he opened the door and went to Uttara Crescent Hospital where the doctor declared him dead.
