Kashitadanga police station of RMP has arrested 2 people with 100 etaba and 36 grams of heroin in Rajshahi metropolis. Also, 24 thousand two hundred rupees of cash for drug trade has been seized from the accused. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Midita) Jamirul Islam confirmed this information through a press release on Wednesday.
The arrested accused are Mosa: Rozi Begum (45) and Mosa: Salma Khatun (23). Rozi Begum is the meteor of deceased Abdul Mannan of Golzarbagh Gupipa of Kashitadanga police station in Rajshahi city and Salma is the melee of Md. Shah Alam of the same area.
on notice It is also reported that on the night of September 5, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Kashitadanga Zone) of RMP under the overall supervision of Bibhuti Bhushan Banerjee and ADC Dr. Under the leadership of Mohammad Ruhul Amin Sarkar, Kashitadanga police station officer-in-charge Md. Moniruzzaman, SI Md Imran Hossain and his team conducted a drug raid in Golzarbagh Gujpayar of Kashitadanga police station.
Esmt Rozi Begum and Salma Khatun were arrested by the police recovered 100 ytaba and 36 grams of heroin from the arrested accused, and 24,200 taka cash was seized from the accused.
Kashitadanga Thana has been sent to jail through a learned court under the Narcotics Act against the arrested accused.
