On the occasion of the 48th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology in Gopalganj and the 2023 Academic Building Day-2023, a discussion meeting was held in Room No. 501 of the Academic Building. A. Q. M. Mahbub, the discussion meeting held under the chairmanship of Mahbub among others was addressed by the publicity secretary of the teachers' association. Arifuzzaman Rajeev, Proctor Dr. Md. The discussion meeting was conducted by Imdadul Haque Sharif, Lecturer of the Department of Technology and Genetic Engineering, and the speakers presented analytical statements on various aspects of the life and ideals of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The president of the discussion meeting, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. A. Q. M. Mahbub said, Bangabandhu was the voice of an oppressed people. Bangabandhu did not only make the country independent, he gave us his philosophy. He called upon the teachers for basic research on the ideals and philosophy of the Father of the Nation, teachers, students, officials and leaders of various departments were present at the event.
