Residents of Rajibpur held a human chain and protest march yesterday in Battala of Char Rajibpur Upazila of Kurigram district demanding a balanced distribution of electricity.
There has been a shortage of electricity supply for a long time. The amount of electricity supply is not the same amount of electricity supply as the electricity supply of Kaunichar, Sanandbai, Patharchar and Quigram in Parsvarati district.
‘The people of Rajibpur protested with the slogan ’Someone will get it, it won't happen.' The human chains were warned to siege and surround the electricity office if there was no electricity distribution.
