Mohammad Tarek bin Rashid has been appointed as the new SP of Laxmipur, who will replace Laxmipur's current Superintendent of Police Md. Mahfuzzaman Ashraf.
The Public Security Department issued an order on Monday (July 17) and was previously held as Deputy Commissioner of Police of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police.
Meanwhile, in another notification of the Public Security Department of the Home Ministry, the current Superintendent of Police of Lakshmipur, Md. Mahfuzzaman Ashraf, has been made the Superintendent of Police of the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI).
