The new committee of the Islamic University (EB) voluntary organization Lantern has been formed in which Yashirul Kabir Sourav, a student of the 2018-19 academic year of the Public Administration Department, has been nominated as the President and the 2018-19 academic year student of the Social Welfare Department, Maryam Begum, who will be named General Secretary for the next one year.

Sadia Tanzim, Sumaiya Sanjum and Mehdi Hasan are also executive members.
It is to be noted that the organization started on March 17, 2013 with the slogan ‘Medha and Manne Pragatishil Bangladesh’, which was founded by Morshed Habib, the then student of the Law Faculty of the University, which has been carrying out various programs for the practice of progressiveness and student career since its inception.
