A student named Sharifuzzaman Sobhan of the 2020-21 academic year of the Department of Applied Nutrition and Food Technology due to previous enmity at the Islamic University (EB) The incident took place at the Jhal area of the university on Sunday (July 09) around 11:00 pm, and in this context, he has filed a written complaint with the proctor and student adviser.
According to the eyewitnesses and complaints, Sobhan went to the university's Diana Chatwar around 10 o'clock after taking classes. He was attacked by a group of 10-12 people including Sajib of the Human Resource Management Department of the English Department, Tauhid of the Bengali Department, who was attacked and hit him on the road with a serious blow to him.
He had bleeding with his nose, mouth and finger injuries, and the accused took away his watch, glasses and wallet and inhumanely tortured him, and he threatened to kill the complainant.
