The government has appointed 10 districts of the country, new District Commissioner (DC) and District Magistrate before the national elections.
Districts- Dhaka, Rangamati, Bandarban, Tangail, Pabna, Sharitapur, Laxmipur, Comilla, Feni and Gazipur.
Gazipur DC Anisur Rahman has been given Dhaka, Public Security Department Deputy Secretary Mohammad Mosharraf Hossain Khan to Rangamati, Dhaka North City Corporation Metor (Deputy Secretary) Shah Mojahid Uddin has been given DC appointment of Bandarban.
Private Secretary to the Chief Secretary of the Prime Minister (Deputy Secretary). Kacharul Islam to Tangail, Private Secretary (Deputy Secretary) Mu. Asaduzzaman Pabna, Deputy Minister of Water Resources, Private Secretary (Deputy Secretary) Arifuzzaman to Sharitapur, Finance Department Deputy Secretary Suraita Jahan to Lakshmipur, Private Secretary (Deputy Secretary) of Disaster Management and Relief State Minister Mu. Mushfiqur Rahman was appointed Deputy Secretary in the Economic Relations Department, Mushammat Shahina Akhtar, Feni and Deputy Secretary of Electricity Department Abul Fate Mohammad Safiqul Islam, Gazipur DC appointment.
The DCs represent the central government in the district level, the deputy secretary rank officials of the government, the DCs are responsible for the general administrative activities of the district, maintaining law and order in the district as a district magistrate and the land management as a collector.
And the District Administrators (DCs) are in charge of the District Returning Officers, they have the power to cancel the polling of any center and cancel the role of the election. The DCs have the role of the coordinator in the election, and the same law enforcement forces are under the command of the returning officer and the DC.
In another order of public administration, on the other hand, Feni DC Abu Salim Mahmud-ul Hasan was deputy secretary of the local government department, DC of Laxmipur. Anwar Hoshain Akand has been transferred as Deputy Secretary of Health Care Department, DC Mohammad Mizanur Rahman of Rangamati, Deputy Secretary of Ministry of Housing and Public Works, Yachmin Parveen Tibariji, Deputy Secretary of Power Department and DC Biswas Russell Hossain of Pabna DC Biswas Russell Hossain has been transferred as Deputy Secretary of Economic Relations Department.
