When asked about this poison, Muhaddes Mufti Fazullah of Jamia Korania Arabia Lalbagh Madrasa said, ‘We have also heard such stories. But this information has no basis. There is no information in this poison in the Qur'an-Hadith. It is actually a common story to tell people, which has no truth.’
In response to the question whether there is no basis for religious or not, zoologist Dr. Sheikh Shahinur Islam said, ‘Animals have feelings. If they hurt any animal, they may cry because of that, if you torture or hurt an animal, the animal may be afraid of being hurt again. That's why the poison of crying has been a legend for a long time.’
