Indian Army Chief General Manoj Pandey is coming to Bangladesh next Monday (June 5) on a two-day visit.
He will visit Bangladesh on the invitation of Bharti High Commission in Dhaka, Bangladesh Army Chief General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed.
He will visit the passing out parade of Bangladesh Military Academy in Chittagong, following the recent visit of India to Bangladesh by General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed, he also visited the Passing Out Parade at the Officers Training Academy in Chennai at the invitation of the Indian Army. During the visit, the Indian Army will pay tribute to the members of the Bangladesh Armed Forces during the War of Independence in 1971 by offering wreaths at the altar of Shikha Anirban of the Dhaka Cantonment.
He will also hold bilateral talks with the Bangladesh Army and review the overall background of defense cooperation between India and Bangladesh.
This high-level visit will allow the renewal of the bond of friendship and brotherhood between the armed forces of India and Bangladesh.
