Farmers are busy tending sugarcane in Bhola's Tajumuddin. The farmers are doing various activities in the field before the rainwater of Asha is coming to the sugarcane land. In five units, sugarcane has been cultivated in 32 hectares. This year, the cost of fertilizer, medicine and labor is high.
On the surface, farmers cultivate different varieties of sugarcane in five units of the upazila. Next Ashwin, they are using pesticides to sell sugarcane for sale in the month of Kartik and to prevent disease, insect attack. Farmers are taking care of sugarcane day and night before rain due to heavy rainfall.
According to the Upazila Agriculture Office, this year, sugarcane has been cultivated in 32 hectares of land in five units. There is no sugar mill in Bhola, there is no commercial sugarcane cultivation, which is why there is no government facilities for sugarcane farmers. Still, the local farmers cultivate sugarcane on their own initiative to eat sugarcane and so on their own initiative. So the agriculture office is giving various suggestions to the sugarcane farmers.

Upazila Agriculture Worker Md. Nazmul Huda said that sugarcane is a profitable crop. This area is not sugar mill, but it is not commercially available for sugarcane. However, it is not available for the local buyers and they are cultivating sugarcane for the sake of eating juice.
