65 days of blockade, Patharghata Upazila Fisheries Department has seized 40 fish from Patharghata BFDC Matsyaghat in Barguna. But they could not arrest anyone.
They were seized around 4 am on Thursday morning, and later Executive Magistrate and Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sufal Chandra Goldar entered 12 orphanages through the mobile court and sold the rest of the fish for 50 thousand taka.
Patharghata Sinister Fisheries Officer Jaantant Kumar Apu said, based on secret information, I came to know that some Ashu fish traders are selling fish at Patharghata BFDC fishing ghat around 4 am based on such news. The operation was conducted by the operation of 40 fish of different species, and then the 12 orphanages were conducted by the Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sufal Chandra Godar and the rest of the fish was sold at an auction of Tk 50,000.
