Staff Reporter: The Hindu-Buddhist-Christian Unity Council leader Rana Dasgupta's statement to protect the minorities of Bangladesh is a provocation against the country, MP Abdul Majid Khan of Habiganj has raised the question.
He said this in a general discussion on the proposed budget in the National Parliament on Saturday.
He said, "The general secretary of the Hindu-Buddhist-Christian Parishad has sought the intervention of the Prime Minister of India. Is he provoking against Bangladesh?"
He said, the way many people speak for Pakistan from Bangladesh, he (Rana Dasgupta) spoke in the same way.
After several recent attacks on the minority Hindu community in Bangladesh, Rana Dasgupta sought ‘interference for the security of Hindus’ from Narendra Modi. The news was published in the media press trust of indica, but Rana Dasgupta has denied the news of such a statement.
