District Gothenda Branch (DB) arrested two people with 50 kg of ganja in Shibpur of Narsingdi. They were arrested from Kararchar Baitla area of Shibpur Upazila of Dhaka-Sylhet Mahasam on Wednesday morning, said Officer-in-Charge (OC) of District Governing Branch Mohammad Abul Basar.
The arrested are - Saddam Market Amir Hamzar of Dhaka's Jatrabai police station, Md. Javed (34) and Mirpur Pallabi Palash Nagar Section 37/8 of Bair Bhatt Mohammad Ali (32).
OC Mohammad Abul Basar said, on the basis of secret information, the operation was conducted at the Mahaskarar Kararchar Bulgarchar Baitla Bus Stand, two people including the HRV private company were arrested after the search for the 50 kg of the company, the company was seized and the two were arrested in the police station.
