Every parent wants his good children to be a good child and a good child is a blessing from Allah. Three deeds are very important for having a good child.
1. pray to Allah
Allah Almighty has instructed people to ask Him for him, and ask only Him.
that is the-
رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ اَزْوَاجِنَا وَ ذُرِّیّتِنَا قُرَّۃَ اَعْیُنٍ وَّ اجعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِییۡنَ اِمَامَامًا
Pronunciation: ‘Rabbana hablana min azwozhena ora jurritatina kurrata aistunao o᧟ajhalna lilmuttakbina imama.’
Meaning: ‘O our Lord! Grant us wives and children who are lovely for us and make us an ideal for the Muttaqis.’ (Surah Furqan: A'at 74)
And for those who do not have children, this is a very beautiful doa. In old age, Allah Ta'ala has also presented the request of Hazrat Zakarita Alaihis Salam for people as follows:
رَبِّ لَا تَذَرْنِیۡ فَرْدًا وَّ اَنْتَ خَیْرُ الْوٰرِثِییییییییییییییییییییییییی� into it．
Pronunciation: ‘Rabbi la tatararni fardao ota anta khatarul otarichina.’
Meaning: ‘O my Lord! Do not leave me alone, you are the best of the best ownership (hence the best and best of all).’ (Surah Ambita: Ata 89)
Hazrat Zakari Alaihis Salam does one more prayer for the child. That prayer is that the hope of having a good child and a good child is:
رَبِّ هَبْ لِیۡ مِنْ لَّدُنْکَ ذُرِّیَّۃً طَیِّبَۃً ۚ اِنَّكَ سَمِیۡعُ الدُّعَآءِ
Pronunciation: ‘Rabbi Habli Milladungka Jurritatan Taibatan; Innaka Samiud Dota.’
Meaning: ‘O my Lord! Give me a holy child from You, surely You are the One who hears the word.’ (Surah Al-Imran: A'at 38)
2. Acting in accordance with the Sunnah
It is important to be saved from the right to have a good child, so to pray to Allah in this way.
بِسْمِ اللّهِ اللّهُمَّ جَنِّبْنَا الشَّيْطَانَ وَ جَنِّبِ الشَّيْطَانَ مَا رَزَقْتَنَا
Pronunciation: ‘Bismillahi Allahumma Jannibanash Shatatana Ota Jannivish Shatatana Ma Razaqtana.’
Meaning: ‘In the name of Allah, O Allah, keep us away from supplication and keep us away from what we have to give (children).
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, marriage If someone says this before intercourse, if they have a child in their union, they will not harm him.
3. Abstain from their sins
In order to have a good child, the husband and wife must be virtuous.The two of them must do good deeds. They must be saved from the act of sin. Only then will Allah the Exalted give them a good child.
