In Narsingdi's Ratpura lightning, 2 youths named Afran Ahad (17) and Rana Ahmed (20) were killed in the same village, one named SMT Shimon Ahmed (17).
On the other hand, a woman named Helena (60) was killed by lightning in Char Lakshipur Ward No. 8 of Belab Upazila of Narsingdi.
The incident of lightning struck Lochanpur village of Rashtpura upazila of Narsingdi around 2 pm on Thursday (May 4) when lightning struck.
The deceased Afran Ahad is the son of Jalal Uddin of Lochanpur village in Rasingdi Rashpura upazila of Rasingdi and Rana Ahmed is the son of Bached Mita of the same village, the injured Shimon Ahmed and the son of Nashu Mita of that village.
The poison of their death was confirmed by Gazi Siddique, a doctor in the emergency department of Ragpura Upazila Health Complex, local residents said that when it started raining with thunder in the afternoon, three youths were wet in the rain and returned to Bai.
The bodies of three people were burnt by lightning and were seriously injured. The locals were immediately rescued and rescued by two youths named Ahad and Rana when they were taken to Rashtpura Upazila Health Complex. Declared dead.
Shimon of the same village was seriously injured and sent to Narsingdi Sadar Hospital for better treatment.
Gazi Siddique, a doctor in the emergency department of Ragpura Upazila Health Complex, said that two people were brought to the hospital in the case of lightning and a person named Shimon was admitted to Narsingdi Sadar Hospital for advanced treatment.
