In a raid in the Laxmipur Municipal Beef and Chicken Market, a fine of Tk 10,000 has been issued in a meat shop and various shopkeepers have been warned.
On Tuesday afternoon, the National Security Detective Organization (NSI) Information and Cooperation, District Administration Executive Magistrate SM Sirajul Salehin, the local government conducted this operation in the area of the municipal beef and chicken market. Helal Uddin was fined Tk 10,000 for keeping rotten and stale meat, and some people were warned by the Executive Magistrate of the mobile court that he was less in weight in the chicken market.
National Security Intelligence Organization (NSI) Field Officer Rajib Kar, Municipality Institutioner Tajul Islam and various officials were present.
Executive Magistrate of Mobile Court SM Sirajul Salehin said that according to Section 37 of the Consumer Rights Protection Act 2009, this fine has been given to three institutions, he said that the operation will continue to be given less weight in the chicken market.
