Mobile court raids were conducted against illegal cable traders in Ramganj of Lakshmipur.
On Wednesday, (April 12) at 11 am under Bangladesh Television No'takhali sub-centre, Ramganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer Umme Habiba Meera of Laxmipur was conducted by the mobile court in the presence of BTV Licensee Inspector.
It is known that Mamun Hossain, the owner of MRS cable network, has been doing illegal business in Ramganj for a long time after crossing the district through the firisi through a firisi, a setup box, and a large number of equipment.
Also, he was fined Tk 50,000 thousand for using the cable line of another district including the operation of Md. Syed Sajjad Haider Sohail, the owner of Chodhibazar M/s Alvi Traders in Kanchanpur Union, along with the operation of the cable business establishment of another district.
After this, at 2 pm, the operation of the mobile court of the owner of Councilor Rashedul Hasan, the owner of Ramganj Digital Media, was conducted on the ground, in which all the documents of Councilor Rashedul Hasan were validated, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Umme Habiba Meera and the license inspector of Noakhali sub-centre of Bangladesh Television Ekram ul Islam Councilor Rashedul Hasan were asked to do business with this legal documents in the future.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Umme Habiba Mira said, our mobile court campaign against illegal cable traders will continue in the future.
BTV's license inspector said that two establishments have been conducting cable business illegally for a long time by crossing the district boundaries, which is considered a serious crime, and has been doing illegal practices through evading government revenue and piracy for a long time.
