Trawlers and Behundijal have been seized for fishing in the Abhashram in the Meghna river in Tajumuddin in Bhola. The arrested fishermen have been fined through mobile courts and they will be fined by the mobile court.
According to the Fisheries Office, the Fisheries Office and Naval Police conducted a joint operation under the leadership of Tajumuddin Upazila Fisheries Officer Amir Hossain from 4 pm (4 April) at 10 pm on Tuesday (April 4) at around 10:00 pm at Meghna Behundijal Ditte adjacent to Charzahiruddin. Fishing has been seized by 39 fishermen, 2 trawlers and 4 behundizals, trawler fishing office custody, Behundijal Shashiganj Swizghat area will be destroyed in fire.

Later, 32 fishermen were given a financial penalty of 3000 taka by the Upazila Nirbahi Officer and the Executive Magistrate of the Mobile Court through the mobile court.
In this regard, Upazila Fisheries Officer Md. Amir Hossain said that 39 fishermen have been arrested for fishing in violation of the ban. Among them, 32 people have been fined 3 thousand taka through the mobile court. The other seven are of unattainable people, the unattainable and strict operations will be conducted.
Upazila Executive Officer Moritam Begum said that the operation will continue in the coming days.
