Saudi Arabia bus accident 17 Bangladeshi Umrah passengers have been injured and they have been admitted to various hospitals.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs came to know this information on Wednesday (March 29).
Among the 17 injured Bangladeshis, they are admitted in various hospitals - Salahuddin, son of Abul Bashar of Sitakunda, Chittagong, Al Amin of Borhan Uddin Upazila of Bhola, Minhaj son of Sirajullah of Raktpur, Lakshinpur, Son of Zainal of Kachuar of Chandpur, Afridi Molla (passport No.: EA0231718), Laxman's son of Shalikar Molla of Magura. Salem (passport no: A03459571).
Delwar Hossain, son of Aitubi Ali of Laksam, Comilla, Yar Hossain, son of Abdul Malek of Muradnagar upazila, Md. Judge Mitar's son Md. Zahidul Islam, son of Abdul Latif of Senbagh in No.khali, Mizanur Rahman, son of Fazlur Rahman of Mohammadpur, Magura, and Kazi Anar Hossain of Jessore Sadar. Musharraf Hossain.
Abdul Hai, Rana, Hossain Ali and Quddus left the hospital with necessary treatment.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, there were 47 passengers in the bus that happened in Saudi Arabia, 35 Bangladeshi nationals, 18 Bangladeshis were injured and 17 of them were admitted to different hospitals. 13 Bangladeshis were killed.
12 different passengers from different countries in the bus 5 of them were dead and 7 injured in various hospitals.
On Monday (March 27), a bus carrying Hajids collided with a bridge on the way to the holy city of Mecca to perform Umrah in Saudi Arabia and overturned it.
Khaleej Times and Gulf News reported that the bus had brake on a road connecting Asir province and Ava on Monday, while the victims were going to Mecca to perform Umrah.
