Laxmipur:
Islami Bank Hajihat Branch in Kamalnagar of Laxmipur has distributed saplings of different species of trees among 1,700 female members under the Rural Unnatn Project.
On Monday (July 10) afternoon, Hazirhat Hamedita Fazil Degree Madrasah will be organized at the meeting place.
Kamalnagar Upazila Chairman Advocate Said Mohammad Samchul Alam was the chief guest on the occasion.
Under the chairmanship of Bank Manager Manchul Alam, Kamalnagar Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Mohammad Masudur Rahman Molla, Officer-in-Charge (OC/Investigation) of Kamalnagar Police Station were special guests. Alamgir Hossain, Hazirhat Degree Madrasa Principal Jatid Hossain Faruqi and Upazila Vice Chairman Maulana Humaun Kabir.
Principal Officer and Manager of the Bank Operations Md. gave a welcome speech on the occasion. Najib Ullah was the assistant officer of the bank, Tasnim Alam.
At the end of the ceremony, the invited guests planted a sapling in the premises of Hajihat Madrasa.
