Comilla Victorita Government College history department student and dramatist Sohagi Jahan Tanu's murder is marked on Monday (March 20).
Four times in seven years, the police investigation agency and five times investigation officers have changed, but the killers have been caught.
The killers are not identified Tanu's mother Anasara Begum is known. He does not expect lifelong trial.
Anaratara Begum said, last Friday (March 17) I went to the two mosques in front of the death anniversary of Meta. Other years, police investigations came to the scene several times and spoke to us, and last two months ago I heard the PBI come to the scene, but no one has contacted us.
In a tearful voice, Tanu's mother said, "I don't get justice because I don't get justice, father, we don't have happiness. Today, the family is destroyed. The hope of happiness is not today. Our misfortune is not over. If we could have seen a day before the death, I could have said that I have been judged in the field of Hasshar."
PBI chief DIG Banaj Kumar Majumdar said there is no progress in the investigation of Tanu Bisht, we are slowly moving forward.
On March 20, 2016, Sohagi Jahan Tanu went missing in private business in private affairs and that night, his body was recovered in a bush near Pawtar House in Comilla Cantonment.
The next day, his father, Cantonment Board employee Eatar Hossain, filed a case against unknown persons in Comilla's Kotoli Model Police Station, Comilla DB Police, CID, Comilla PBI and lastly handed over to the Central PBI in November 2020.
The investigation revealed the presence of three people's sperm in Tanu's clothes in the investigation. Tanu's murder in a safe place has created a nationwide sensation and agitation.
