The High Court has issued a ruling in the compensation of Chikunguni victims, after hearing the writ petition filed by Justice Saitra Mohammad Dastgir Hassan and Justice Md. Ataur Rahman Khan High Court Bench.
In order to prevent this fever, the High Court has asked why it should not be ordered to take measures and compensation for the affected patients.
Health Secretary, Local Government Secretary, Dhaka North and South City Corporation Metor and two City Corporation Chief Executive Officers have been asked to respond to the ruling.
It is to be noted that the writ petition was filed in the High Court on July 4.
