Gopalganj-02 Member of Parliament Sheikh Fazlul Karim Salim and ICT State Minister Junaid Ahmed Palak laid the foundation stone of the country's first ‘Not’ 'Knowledge Park' at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology (Bashemurbiprobi) in Gopalganj.
Today Saturday (March 18) at 11.0 am, the foundation stone of Knowledge Park was laid through a ceremony.
In the speech of the chief guest at the event, Sheikh Fazlul Karim Salim said, “He expressed his gratitude to the honorable Prime Minister for taking the initiative to set up a ‘Knowledge Park’ at a cost of Tk 170 crore in Gopalganj.
He added that this knowledge park will be the address of employment for the young generation of Gopalganj, he said, saying that the government is working tirelessly for the development of the people of Gopalganj. Through this knowledge park, the youth park has been created to stand on their own feet. Through this project, 1000 youths have been created. Training will be provided and employment opportunities will be created here, I think there will be a huge change in the socio-economic situation of Gopalganj.
ICT Minister Junaid Ahmed Palak said, ”The most benefit will be given to the students and local residents of this park. This knowledge park will have a start-up floor facility where plug and play facilities are ensured. Advanced research facilities for students and students will be ensured, there will be a special lab for students and students."
He further said, ”By establishing an inclusive research facility separately for academic and industrial research will create an innovation culture where life-long learning through industry integration with government and academia will be created. Provider organizations will be built with national and global stakeholders to create collaboration of start-ups and stakeholders in this knowledge park with national and global stakeholders, and internships will be provided if necessary to increase collaboration with the industry, which will play a major role in changing the entire ecosystem of the economy in the area.
