In the speech of the chief guest, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mahbubur Rahman said, "I don't want to call you an ex-student. Those who are working in different places in the country and abroad have come to their families today to meet each other during a festival." At present, not only Bangladesh but also the alumni of the outside world are playing an important role in higher education and they are supporting their organization or department financially and in various ways.
He added that a language can build a society. A poem can destroy the society's brinks.A weapon can create a wonderful environment in the country with a weapon that you cannot do, a word or a language.
At the end of the discussion program, the Alumni Association Committee of the Department will be formed around 12 noon. Later, from 3 pm, a wonderful cultural program with the participation of teachers and students and raffle draw and prize distribution ceremony will be held from 6 pm in the evening.
On the occasion of the reunion yesterday, the pitha festival was held at the Bengali stage adjacent to the university's Ambagan.
