A church in the northern German city of Hamburg has been killed by gunfire. Several others were injured.
The Guardian has reported this information, according to the police and emergency services agencies.
The police said the incident took place on Thursday night in a group of people named Debuga in Gross Borst, and the attackers are believed to have been among the dead.
However, the police have not yet said anything clear about the reason for the attack, a spokesperson said immediately after the attack, ‘We have no indication of a criminal's escape’.
‘A person who died at the scene of the incident is believed to have been the one who is believed to have committed the murder. The police said that it is being investigated to find out if anyone else is involved in the incident.’
The local media reports said that the church began after 9 pm, killing seven people and at least 25 people injured, eight of them in critical condition.
The Hamburg police said that police operations are going on in the city's Gross Borst district, which has been stopped by several people.
Common citizens have been asked to go to those places and have been ordered to stay at home.
