Laxmipur:
Md. Ferdous (26), joint secretary of Hajihat Union Juba Dal of Hajti Kamalnagar in Laxmipur Jail, has died.
He died in the condition of Laxmipur Sadar Hospital at around 3:00 pm on Friday (June 30). When he fell ill, the authorities admitted him to the hospital.
Ferdous is the son of Hossain Ahmed of Char Jangalita village of Hajihat Unitan of Kamalnagar Upazila. The case was filed against him in the Kamalnagar police station and he was in jail.
Kamalnagar Upazila BNP General Secretary Nurul Huda Chowdhury confirmed the party's identity of the deceased Ferdous.
Kamalnagar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Akul Chandra Biswas said that Ferdous was an accused in the case and was arrested by the police on June 17 and sent him to jail through the court.
Laxmipur jail district. Shariful Islam said, if he is suffering from heart disease at night, he is quickly sent to Lakshmipur Sadar Hospital and later he died under treatment.
