Bangladesh's exports to the garment sector have increased in the last financial year, compared to 14.06 percent of the growth in the last financial year.
The export in this year was 27.50 billion dollars, now it has been 31.36 billion dollars.
This data is known from the statistics released by the Export Development Bureau (EPB) on Thursday (March 2). These statistics have included export data from July-February of the current financial year (22-23).
Statistics show that the net worth has come from the net worth of 17.06 billion dollars from the oven sector, the growth in the netwa sector is 14.30 billion dollars, the growth in the networe sector is 13.21 percent and the growth in the oven sector is 15.8 percent.
In this regard, BGMEA director Mohiuddin Rubel said, "The oven sector has increased higher than the net woven in the month of January 2023. Our export is 3.94 billion dollars, which is 12.31 percent more than the same month of 2022."
He said, although we have been able to maintain exports for more than 4 billion dollars for the last few months, we have been saying that the country is decreasing and it has fallen below 4 billion in the last 3 months.
He further said that if We compare the month of January 2022 with the month of January 2023, if we look at it The growth that has been in the pub. If we compare it with the last month of the same year, we will see that it has decreased.
The BGMEA director said, "One of the reasons for this decline is that global economic indicators are going to be in the middle of the recession in 2023. We are expecting the impact that we had already done. We are hopeful that there are new markets in the factories, although we are hopeful of getting some new-market buyers."
