The first reunion of the Islamic University (EB) Bengali Division will be held on March 11. The Alumni Association of the Department will be formed on the same day. As part of the program, the Pitha Utsav will be held on the afternoon of March 10 in the afternoon of the campus.
On this occasion, students' online and offline registration will continue till February 28.
These things were informed in a press conference at the seminar room of the 12 o'clock department on Saturday (February 25) at noon.
The president of the department, Professor Dr. Mahbub Murshid presided over the reunion program, Professor Dr. Saifuzzaman, professor of the department. Sarwar Murshid, Professor Dr. Habibur Rahman, Professor Dr. Rezaul Karim, Professor Dr. Rashiduzzaman, Professor Dr. Tapan Kumar Rath, Professor Dr. Faujita Khatun and others were present.
It was informed at the press conference that the department is going to have so much magnificent alumni in the department for the first time, 800 to 1000 students from the department will participate in this event.
Until March 11, there were various events including a day-long discussion meeting, students' memorialization, drama, cultural programs, and various events were held at Bir Shrestha Hamidur Rahman Milnatan on March 11. Sheikh Abdus Salam, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mahbubur Rahman, treasurer Professor Dr. Alamgir Hossain Bhui, Dean of the Faculty of Arts Professor Dr. Haroon-ur-Rashid Askari and teachers and students of Bengali department will be present.
Speakers in the conference said, ‘In the 33 batches of our department, thousands of students have come out. It is important to form our Alumni Association at this stage. They can play a major role in the development of the organization and the department. Through this program, the link of the former and current will be achieved. We will not be able to achieve this and the goal of this development.’
