The government is calling for the ‘Private Chamber’ to be launched in government hospitals from March next year.

In the case of the launch of ‘Private Chamber’ in government hospitals, a committee formed by the Ministry of Health has been proposed to be formed on the issue of the launch of a committee formed by the Ministry of Health. On January 22, a committee was formed to launch a committee headed by additional secretary of the ministry, Saidur Rahman, and 20 more committee members were made to the committee.
The committee has already prepared two meetings so far, the committee has already formulated a policy called ‘Institutional Practice’ on how the ‘Private Chamber’ will run. The last meeting of the committee will be held on Thursday (Feb 23) to finalize the policy.
The Khassa policy is said that after the office meeting, the doctors will have the same private chamber at their workplace, the patient will have to buy tickets to get the service.
According to Khasa policy, the fee of senior doctor will be Tk 300. The fee of the junior doctor will be Tk 150. The fee will be Tk 200 from the fee. His supporter will get Tk 50. The remaining Tk 50 will be deposited in the government fund.
The youngest doctor will get 100 taka from the fee. His supporter will get 25 taka. The remaining 25 taka will go to the government fund.
The Khassa policy is also said, a professor two days a week, an associate professor two days, an assistant professor will see a patient for two days. If the doctor gives the patient a test, the patient can do it in a government hospital if he wants, and he can do it in a private hospital.
Saidur Rahman, head of the committee, told the media that another meeting has been called to end the policy. We hope that private practice will be launched in government hospitals by March.
According to the sources of the Ministry of Health, private chambers will be opened in the upazila level, 50 at the district level, 8 in the department and 5 in specialized government hospitals. The Ministry is planning to open private chambers in all government hospitals in the country by next August.
