A day-long youth festival program was held at Tajumaddin of Sustainable Coastal and Marine Fisheries Project (SCMFP) Component-3 Employment and Livelihood Transformation under the Directorate of Fisheries.
On Wednesday (February 22) at 11 am, the rally, discussion meeting, Kriza competition were held on the occasion of the youth festival at 11 am.
Bhola-3 MP Alhaj Nurunnabi Chowdhury Shaon announced the auspicious opening of the event as the chief guest in the event under the chairmanship of Tajumuddin Upazila Executive Officer Moritam Begum.
Tajumuddin Upazila Fisheries Officer Amir Hossain gave the welcome speech of the event.
Awami League President Fakrul Alam Jahangir, General Secretary Fazlul Haque Deotan, Vice Chairman Mohiuddin Poddar, Female Vice Chairman Kohinur Begum Sheela, Barisal Regional Coordinator of SCMFP Md. Samiul Haque, Jubo League General Secretary Abdur Rahman, Fisherman League President Sirajul Islam spoke as special guests.
Fisheries officer Al Amin, SDF officer AMA Quader and CFs working in various villages were also present at the event. After the discussion meeting of the youth festival, prizes will be given to the BJTs in the cultural and cultural events.
