India's foreign minister S Jaishankar said that Pakistan's future is their own actions and accordingly, according to India's foreign minister S Jaishankar, he said Islamabad should find a way out of the economic problem.
Jashankar said this in an interview with Indian news agency ANI on Tuesday.
‘I think Pakistan's future is largely determined by Pakistan's actions and choices. No one reaches a difficult situation suddenly and without reason. They have to find a way. Our relationship is not the same today where we can be directly relevant to the process.’
Pakistan is trying to revive a suspended loan program of the IMF amid economic unrest, with Pakistan experts calling for trade relations with India to overcome the crisis, the Indian foreign minister said.
‘If I compare it to Sri Lanka, for example, it's a very different relationship with Sri Lanka, India has a lot of goodwill. Naturally, we have a lot of concern for our neighbors to help them in the future if we are in a comparison with Sri Lanka,’ said Jashankar. If this happens in any other neighboring country, you have to come forward, but you know about Pakistan in our country. What a feeling.’
He said that India has good relations with major global powers except China, which he accused China of violating the border management agreement.
India's foreign minister said, ‘India's relationship with big powers is good. China is an exception, because they have violated the agreement.’ India is going to organize a meeting of foreign ministers of G20 on March 1-2, Jashankar said, adding that senior Chinese government officials will be present there.
