Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has asked for the United Nations' support for the relocation of the Rohingyas who have been displaced in Bhasanchar to take a better standard of living in Cox's Bazar. She wants this help when she goes to meet the Prime Minister at her official residence Ganabhaban on Monday.
Prime Minister's speech writer Nazrul Islam quoted the Prime Minister in the Prime Minister's statement, Sheikh Hasina said that since there is no guarantee of sending the Rohingyas back to their own countries very soon, the Rohingyas should be shifted to Bhasanchar to give a better standard of living and the United Nations can cooperate with this poison.
The Prime Minister of Bangladesh said that the Rohingyas are currently living a densely populated life in the Rohingya camps in Cox's Bazar.
He further said that if The Rohingyas can be transferred to Bhasanchar with livelihood, then they can live a dignified life in a living environment because more than 100,000 people have accommodation here.
Sheikh Hasina also said that a better life in Bhasanchar and education of Rohingya children's own language has been arranged.
The Prime Minister thanked the United Nations for their cooperation after the Rohingyas took refuge in Bangladesh and he expressed hope that the United Nations will continue this support.
