Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has ordered to start scouting in madrasas as well as schools.
He gave this instruction at the closing ceremony of the 32nd Ashita Pacific and 11th Scout Jamboori in Gazipur on Wednesday (January 25) morning. Every student should be trained to take action in that case. Sheikh Hasina said that apart from the school, the madrasa students should also participate in the scout movement.
The head of government said that the role of youth is most important in the development of Bangladesh. He also urged everyone to work together in that way to keep the hard-earned freedom intact.
Inviting scouts to work in patriotism, Sheikh Hasina said that the benefits of freedom should be delivered to every house.
The Prime Minister also highlighted the various initiatives of the government to accelerate the Scout movement. By 2041, the government wants to make the country free from hunger and poverty, Sheikh Hasina said, Bangladesh has been progressing since 2009, leaving behind conflict, power and fire terror in the country.
The Prime Minister gave the highest medal of the scouts to the scouts in Mouchak of Kalitakir upazila.
32nd Ashita Pacific Regional and 11th Scout Jamboree started from January 19 at Mouchak National Scout Training Center, 10,960 people including 916 Scout Units from across the country participated in this zambur.
The scouts know that the Jamburi Ajkara will be able to achieve physical, mental and spiritual progress.
