Netrakona Abhaman village Bengal Chirat Heritage Pitha Utsav was held today Sunday at 11 am. The brave freedom fighter Abu Siddique Ahmed Smriti Sangsad held a day-long pitha festival in the Parliament office.
On this occasion, the heroic freedom fighter Abu Siddique Ahmed Memorial Sangsad Ahbak Bir Muktijoddha Abu Akkas Ahmed presided over the event as chief guest and Deputy Director of Local Government Department Geeta Ahmed Sumon and Superintendent of Police Furtaz Ahmed inaugurated the pitha festival of peace.
Prof. Nani Gopal Sarkar read the keynote at the event, later invited guests, visitors to the festival visited the fair stalls and enjoyed the taste of various pithas. After the day, the three-member judges visited various stalls and presented awards to the stall owners who attended the festival.
