Laxmipur:
A child and an old man who was drowned in water in Lakshmipur died of electrocution. On Sunday (May 21) morning in Parvatinagar and Khilbaicha area of Sadar Upazila, they died in separate incidents. They were killed in Parvatinagar. Paran Metu Mitu (7) and Akhter Hossain (62) resident of Khilbaicha village (62). Mitu's father Md. Paran said that he sank in Mitu pond to take a bath in the morning and later rescued him and took him to Sadar Hospital where he was declared dead. On the other hand, an old man named Akhter Hossain (62) died in the Matlabpur area of Khilbaicha. Anwar Hossain confirmed the poison.
