In a recent report of the National Legal Co-operation Agency, it has been said that in the last 13 years, 800,000 people have received legal support across the country at government expense in the last 13 years.
1 lakh 12 thousand 318 people have benefited through ADR and 17 thousand 328 people have been given service through hotline.
This report has been sent to the concerned departments including the Ministry of Law.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina took the initiative to provide legal support to the people who are financially insufferable, insufferable and unable to get justice due to various socio-economic reasons during her first ten years in the government.
In this regard, Law Minister Anisul Haque said that one of the dreams of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was to ensure the rule of law, basic human rights and justice for all. For that purpose, the government of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina enacted the National Legal Cooperation Act in 2000. The Nation of this Act is also being established in the house of the Legal Covenant, which is also working in the homes of the common people.
