Most of the world wars are organized between the member countries of the Islamic Cooperation Organization, and Turkey has called on the Muslim world to unite against global conflicts and challenges, which has reiterated support for flood-hit Pakistan and oppressed Palestine.
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said these things at the annual coordination meeting of the Islamic Block in New York on Thursday.
‘The world is currently less safe and more uncertain. More than two billion people live in conflict zones and unfortunately nearly 60 percent of it is in conflict in the OIC countries,’ he said.’
He expressed his condolences to Pakistan, who was suffering from the severe floods, which has affected 3.3 million Pakistanis, killing at least 1,576 people and destroying crops worth 30 billion dollars, and Turkey has sent a kind of cooperation to Pakistan, said the Turkish and Turkish people, ‘Turkey and Turkish people will continue to support Pakistan brothers and sisters.’
‘Ankara is seeking peace and stability in the conflict zone,’ Cavusoglu said on the Palestinians. And Turkey will continue to support Palestine. It is our responsibility to protect Palestine's independent and sovereign state and Jerusalem as its capital.’
