Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has arrested 39 people on charges of selling and consuming drugs by conducting raids in different areas of the capital.
This information has been informed by the media wing of DMP today Saturday (September 17).
According to DMP, they were arrested in various police station areas of the capital from 6 am on Friday (September 16) to 6 am on Saturday.
394 pieces of e'ba, 50 grams of heroin, 17 kg 90 grams of ganja, 50 bottles of phensidyl, 64 liters of domestic liquor, two bottles of foreign liquor and 35 injections were recovered from them.
The DMP has also known that 31 cases have been registered against the arrested under the Narcotics Control Act.
