23 brick kilns of Ramganj Upazila of Laxmipur are being disobeyed environmental laws and by managing the concerned authorities, the soil of cropland including paddy trees is being made. This is feared to reduce the fertility of the crops. On the other hand, the trolley used to bring soil to the land is crushed by the road in the remote areas of the upazila. The brick kiln owners have been running this activity for a long time, but there is no one to see it, on the one hand, the damage to the environment is not being repaired from the long side, the roads of the upazila are being crushed by the wheels of heavy vehicles. As a result, these brick kilns are also causing great damage to the communication system.
23 brick kilns have been planted in the croplands of different areas of Ramganj upazila without the government policy, resulting in indiscriminate cutting of fertile soil from the surrounding land. At the same time, wood is being used instead of wood as fuel for the kilns.

According to a source, 23 brick kilns per day are 500 to 550 trolleys of soil.
An environmentalist named Raisul Islam Shaon said that although it is forbidden to cut soil from fun ponds, canals, rivers, grasslands, fallow and cultivated land according to the government policy, no one is complying with it.
However, the local government is not stopping to bring bricks or brick kiln raw materials using the upazila, unit or rural government under the Department of Engineering, but the appropriate authorities are not stopping it.
According to the sources, half of the 23 brick kilns of Ramganj upazila of the district are not allowed by the local environment department. Still, many have questioned how the owners of these brick kilns have continued their activities.
Dr. Abdullah Al Maeed said that only the fertility of the land is being reduced by taking the soil of the cropland. The people of the brick kiln area are in dire danger including the construction of brick kilns around the locality and settlements.
College student Ahmed Noor Swapan said that the roads in the upazila have already been in a bad situation due to not renovating the roads of the upazila for the past few years.
Several people in Ramganj upazila said that the land sales have decreased for various reasons due to various reasons.
Upazila Brick Bhata Owners Association President Sanaulya Mita, the president of Brick Bhata Owners Association, investigated the site and called the mobile phone, but he did not give any information to the journalists, but he said that we have constructed the brick kiln in accordance with the proper policy.
Ramganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mohammad Abu Yusuf said, according to the government law, the brick kilns are not used in the soil of the cropland. If it is somewhere, it will be investigated and action will be taken.
Ramganj Upazila Agriculture Officer. Jasim Uddin said, "Even after making the farmers aware of the poison of not selling the soil, they are not listening. Once the fertility of the soil is taken back to the land, it takes at least 10-15 years to return. And thus if the sale of the soil continues, it will have a negative impact on the production of one crop, which will have a food crop shortage.
