Chief Election Commissioner Kazi Habibul Autal said there is no chance of a political crisis due to EVMs. The political parties should solve the crisis that is in politics. EVM is not a weak machine.
He said these things in response to questions from journalists in his office on Wednesday (September 7).
Mentioning that there will be no digital rigging in the EVM elections, he said that there has been no malfanction in any election. There has been a lot of co-authority in solving the digital fraud, and it has been scrutinized.
The CEC also said that Zafar Iqbal said it was a very complex machine, and as such, it is said that it is a weak machine. I don't need to be strong, no need to be weak, it's the real poison for the machines that are working or not. We have used thousands of EVMs in thousands of elections over the past few years.
