Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee can attend a bilateral meeting in Delhi to honor the goodwill of Bangabandhu's daughter Sheikh Hasina.

The Mamata who is going to Delhi in the first week of September has been confirmed by Kolkata Chief Minister's office on Thursday but it is not certain when exactly she will go.

In the letter written to Mamata last month, Bangabandhu's daughter knew that she is coming to India and she hopes to meet her on that visit. In fact, Mamata will have a meeting with Sheikh Hasina in Delhi and the other rivers are not a treaty agreement, but the other rivers are trying to end the bilateral agreement. Sheikh Hasina's visit to Delhi is likely to hold several river water sharing agreements, border issues and bilateral trade talks, including Teesta, and she will step into Delhi on September 5. During the visit of Sheikh Hasina, several important agreements between the two countries are supposed to be signed, including the river agreement.

Bangladesh has been optimistic about the distribution of water in 6 rivers in the middle of India-Bangladesh.
