Upazila Aomi League has announced to resist BNP in the political arena in Ratapur, Ratapur, Lakshmipur.
Monday at 8pm Upazila Aomi League General Secretary Rafiqul Hadar Babul Pathan announced this in a joint meeting of the Mourning Month, Aug.
Meanwhile, at the same time and at the same place, the upazila BNPO also announced to hold a public meeting to protest against the rise in the price of goods.
There is tension between the two parties. Upazila Aomi League President Principal Mamunur Rashid said, ‘We will hold a scheduled mourning and protest march at the bus stand. BNP will not be allowed to cause any disturbance in peaceful Rakhpur. If the BNP tries to create anarchy and chaos in the name of public meeting.’ Upazila BNP President Advocate Monirul Islam Howladar said, ‘Our public meeting program is predetermined. Accordingly, all our preparations have been completed. We will complete our rally at any cost at any cost.
In the meantime, the poison of the rally has been informed in writing to the District Superintendent of Police and the OC of Rachapur police station.
’In this case, Rakhtpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shipon said, "We have been informed in writing by the Awami League and BNP parties to hold a rally and mourning meeting in the bus stand area. None of the parties have been decided to hold the rally, no one has yet decided to hold a police station."
