Two children died after drowning in two villages in Ratapur of Lakshmipur.

On Thursday (August 18) at 8 am, Farihar Akhter (4) of Md Ibrahim of Shatanagar village of Rathpur UP upazila and Riju Akhtar (2) of Ismail Hossain of Mahadevpur village of Sonapur UP died in water.
At 12 noon, Dr. Tanmath Kumar Pal of Ratpur Government Hospital emergency department confirmed this information to the reporter.
Faritha's father Ibrahim said, "Faritha was playing in her yard around 7 am, and her body was busy with family work next to her. At one point, Farita was washing her hands and feet in the pond next to the courtyard. After some, her body was found in the yard.

The two separated children were buried in the family cemetery after the Zohar prayer in the afternoon.
