Three people, including a child, were killed in a girder on a private car carrying passengers in the capital's Uttara BRT project, two others were injured.
The accident happened in the crane ditch girder lifting, the identity of the victims is still not confirmed.
The incident took place in front of Arang in Jasim Uddin Road area on Monday afternoon and the police believe that the number of deaths could be further increased.
After the accident, the traffic has been stopped in the area, there has been heavy traffic, while the police are trying to clear the traffic jam and remove the accident-stricken private car.
