A student died after breaking the gate of primary school in Khagrachari.
The incident took place at Khabong Psi'ta Government Primary School in Khagrachari Sadar around 9 am on Wednesday.
The deceased Shravan (6) is the son of Pranat Deoan, a resident of Naratan Khaita area of Khagrachari municipality, who was a pre-primary student in the school.
Khagrachari Sadar Police Station OC Md. Arifur Rahman confirmed the truth of the incident and said, "We have visited the school and we have reached out to the family after the body of the deceased child."
Khagrachari Sadar Upazila Education Officer Md. Rabiul Islam said that in the morning, the entrance to the school with the mother suddenly broke the gate and fell on her body.
When the people from there rescued him and went to the hospital, the doctor on duty declared him dead. In the morning, the headmaster of the school called us to find out about the poison. We visited the school and we all concerned.
