The acting principal of the institution, Mostak Ahmed, has been accused of insulting Syeda Fahmida Abedin, a lecturer in the physics department of Dalta Degree College in Ramganj Upazila of Laxmipur.
When the matter came to light, the college management committee of the acting principal was rushed to a teacher named Omar Farooq Chowdhury on August 1. The victim teacher filed a complaint with the officer.
Besides, College Management Committee, Upazila Executive Officer, District Commissioner, District Education Officer, Comilla Regional Office, Secondary and Higher Secondary Education He submitted a copy of the complaint to the Directorate and National University, according to the complaint, acting principal Mostak Ahmed behaved indecently with the teacher as he demanded the due money from the institution on July 28.
If he protested, he threatened to dismiss him. If he went to the institution on August 8, he said that he used to talk about the issue with the women teachers.
The victim teacher Saida Fahmida Abedin said, "Such behavior is new, it is long-standing. The honor is solely my own, so I have complained to the higher authorities. The accused Mostak Ahmed said, I am going to Dhaka. The people of the committee are supposed to sit in this poison on Saturday."
Upazilla Secondary Education Officer Monaz Rashid said, "We have received complaints, but we cannot conduct a direct investigation into the college. If the instructions of the higher authorities are received, the investigation will be done."
Md Shahjahan, president of the college management committee, said that the two had a discussion with the two and the teacher will be resolved next Saturday.
