The nation Jutmill workers workers held a protest rally in Sirajganj demanding the opening of all jute mills in the country and paying the dues.
Jati Jute Mill Workers Employees Sambah Parishad convener Shahidul Islam spoke at the protest rally, Kamarkhand Upazila Chairman SM Shahidullah Sabuj, District Jasdar General Secretary Abu Bakar Bhui, Trade Union Sirajganj Region President Barkat Ullah, Jatiyat Jutmil Sramik Employees Parishad, Salim Hossain and others.
The speakers in the rally said that the nation of Sirajganj has closed jute mills across the country including jute mills, but the workers have not been paid, as a result of which the workers are living in a miserable life with their families.
In the assembly, it is demanded to pay all the dues including the wage commission's income and restart the state ownership mill. Otherwise, the speakers warned of a more strict movement in the coming days.
