Music artist Nirmala Mishra died of a heart attack at Chetla's house in South Kolkata around 12 o'clock on Saturday night.
He had been suffering from an old age for several months, and at the time of his death, his age was 81 years.

Nirmala's husband Pradeep Dasgupta was also an artist and lyricist. The artist had to be admitted to a nursing home for treatment in the month of December. The artist died of a heart attack at home on Saturday night, his doctor said.
At night his body will be in a nursing home on Sardan Avenue.
It is said that the body will be taken to Rabindrasad around 10 am on Sunday.
