Dhaka Metropolitan Police has arrested 62 people on charges of selling and consuming drugs by conducting anti-narcotics operations in different areas of the capital.
They were arrested along with drugs in various police station areas of the capital from 6:00 am on Saturday morning from 6:00 am today.
43 cases have been registered under the concerned police station drug control law against those arrested 7446 pieces of e'taba, 11 kg 400 grams of ganja, 27 grams of heroin, 100 bottles of Desimad and 5 bottles of Fensidil.
